As violence against women continues unabated, the Women's Action for Development -WAD is calling on employers to initiate workplace educational programs for men.

Such programs should not only teach them the rights of women to life but their responsibility towards a peaceful and harmonious society.

Its Director Veronica de Klerk said gender based violence has become a disease and if not treated sooner it will only spiral out of control.
