IN a bloody reversal of roles in the spate of Namibia’s spur of passion killings, a well- liked and respected prominent Divundu-resident in the Kavango-East region was stabbed to death by his ex-girlfriend in an apparent fit of jealousy.
The 40-year old Christof Kamutyonga was stabbed in his main artery in the neck after his much younger ex-girlfriend only known as Kado appar...ently followed him and a woman to Kamutyomga home after a night out. According to information Kamutyonga answered the door in the early hours of Saturday morning when he was stabbed in the neck and died on his front door in a pool of blood.
The suspected murderer gave herself up to the police and is in custody in the Divundu police cells and will most likely appear in court tomorrow (Monday 03/03/2014).
Friends of the victim described Kamutyongu as a respected mechanic in the area who ended his stormy relationship with his murderer a few months ago.See More
